I stumble upon a little pond teeming with life and growth In days past I would often play long hours forgotten by it's shore my reflection at these times youthful My dad gave me his wisdom and I used it to fish with languishing in quiet conversation as the insects made the pond ripple my reflection less boyish then The pond grew larger still as such things often will the salamanders playing around unoffeneded by infrequent visits my reflection often looking lost Now the pond has seen it's last days It's children all moved away alone it sits and reflects to this my rigid bones return My reflection at this
